What computer software and or webcam can I purchase to record for long periods?

Inspiron 1545 Webcam Software

I had to reboot my computer and lost all my initial programs i recieved with my laptop. I’ve used all discs and downloaded all programs on them and webcam, and other features are still missing. Help?
